SDR2DX ON AM:
The Sun is a very capable rig on AM. However a critical step must be taken to avoid negative peaks forcing a downward power drop on the carrier. Below is a picture of settings I use for the AGC in the processor. This completely eliminates the negative peak effect. This will have very little if any effect on the audio quality.
